Japanese Studies Scholarships, (by Mar 2009) - 1 Yr Japanese language. For undergrads

Teacher Training Student Scholarship (by Mar 2009) - 1.5 yr teacher training program at Japanese Univ. For primary and secondary teachers > 5 yrs of experience

Research Student Scholarship (by May 2009) - 1.5 - 2 yrs Graduate research at a Japanese Univ. Study area same as applicant studied or is studying. For Univ. grad.

Professional Training College (by July 2009) - 3 Yr period of vocationaL STUDY PROGRAM AT at a Japanese vocational college. For High School graduates.

Undergraduate Student Scholarship (by June 2009) - 4-7 yr for High school graduates at a Japanese Univ. as undergraduate.

NICSA William Blackwell Scholarship

Have a rising junior or third-year COLLEGE studentinterested in pursuing a college undergraduate degree in the global investment management industry?

Now is your opportunity to nominate them for the NICSA/William T. Blackwell scholarship fund. Applications are typically due by mid December every year.

The NICSA/William T. Blackwell scholarship fund is available to children of full-time employees at all NICSA member firms who are enrolled at accredited four-year colleges and universities, this program is designed to support students pursuing degrees in finance, accounting, management, computer science, communications and other areas related to the global investment management industry.

Different from previous years, this year's scholarship fund has been expanded to allow recipients eligibility for up to 2 years of scholarship support with grants of $3,000 and $5,000 per year. Each recipient will also be paired with a mentor from a NICSA member firm to help guide them down the path of success within their professional career.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY MID DECEMBER. (As of 2013).

Scholarships for Africans

OP Jindal Global University 50 scholarships for Africans !

SONIPAT, Haryana: The OP Jindal Global University has announced 50 scholarships for Africans to study at its campus from August.

"The scholarships range from 50-100 percent tuition waiver, based on merit," a university statement said.

The university said the Jindal-Africa Scholarship Programme was part of its commitment towards fostering global cooperation and development, with a special focus on Africa.

Vice chancellor C Raaj Kumar said: "This scholarship programme is intended to build human capital of fellow developing countries through higher education. It aims to build capacities of young Africans by bringing them to the campus in India and training them in key issue areas relevant to the national priorities of their respective countries. The ultimate goal of this programme is to strengthen people-to-people linkages between India and Africa."

Already students from Kenya, South Africa, Liberia, Mozambique, Angola, Botswana, Guinea and Zambia are studying in the university.
