Core Energy Partners, LLC is a private equity firm that makes control investments in small to middle market energy companies in North America. Within the energy sector, Core Energy focuses on investments in oil & gas exploration & production and oilfield services & equipment. Core Energy invests up to $25 million of equity per deal, but can form syndicates to invest up to $100 million, in start-up, growth equity and buyout opportunities.

Job Description

Primary role will be to support all of Core s investment, marketing and operating activities, including: conducting sector, product and company research; drafting marketing presentations and investment memorandums; building investment models; reviewing term sheets and other documents; attending meetings with potential management teams, investors and other Core relationships; and updating Core s internal deal and investor logs.

Qualification: Strong work ethic, highly entrepreneurial and intellectually curious. Ability to do independent work on a timely basis. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Accounting skills are a must, but not required.
